Which topics do you represent in the Management Alliance Academy’s team of experts?
My focus is clearly on the topics of accounting, auditing and sustainability. I bring insights directly from the EFRAGSustainability Reporting Board and am an expert on the ESRS – European Sustainability Reporting Standards and sustainability reporting.
What questions do you discuss with the participants in the current course? Are there any topics that consistently move the participants?
The new EU-wide standards for sustainability reporting, the European Sustainability Reporting Standards, pose new questions and challenges for many companies and supervisory boards. In particular, issues relating to materiality analysis and the value chain are perennial topics that are discussed time and again.
What do you associate with the term “knowledge culture”?
For me,knowledge culture is a living experiment. As a professor, I have been experiencing first-hand for many years how society and students in particular explore, filter, absorb and process knowledge. Learning has changed a lot in higher education and is becoming increasingly digital. I’m excited to see what developments there will be in the future.
What influencing factors do you see that could have a positive or negative impact on the issue of knowledge culture?
Increasing digitalisation, which makes it possible to absorb knowledge regardless of time and space, is certainly a positive factor.
If you could make a wish: What do you expect from the future skills culture?
I expect a stronger integration of artificial intelligence with human emotionality from the future skills culture.
